Another path filled with pitfalls and thorns

I'm forced to take and pursue another challenge

I'm not going to claim that I wasn't warned

Just that this moment seems like I can't manage

I may not be perfect, my efforts fall short

But determination that I own is unique 

I will do this thing, not just once, without a doubt

So I may script my victory with my blood as the ink

Somewhere along this whirlwind, the inner voice compels

To let go off the striving, give up the pain

While I restrain and wonder with intense

Thoughts that all my efforts may go in vain

No way for me to quit and no, not today

The heart beats to succeed. more than that, to fight

No matter how many falls I count along my way

I'll be sleeping with peace tonight

For I am a survivor and I survive

Through all these obstacles and tests anytime

No matter how the road may seem, may fair

No one is stopping this life of mine.

A survivor is what I'll be!

You are a true friend....

 

A phrase that many use to refer their closest, most meaningful friends in their life.

It is hard to define what a true friend really is. As always, daring to be different,

I've tried to do so. The trial seemed almost simple as to bring out these words...I really didnt have to try.

 

So this is to my true friend... [Shil...Its for you! ;)]

 

A meaning is suddenly added,

Just because of You.

Your words have made me delighted,

My day feels so new.

You don't know how much I smiled,

When you told me It was beacuse of me.

That moment made me realize

You're someone who knows exactly.

Whenever you are down, I try to be.

Closer, better and more for you,

But you are the one meant for me.

As you know when I need some words in few.

Kinder moments like this exhilerate me

And make my existance worth

I take my moment to confirm to myself indeed,

You are a true friend...there's no doubt!
