The only thing that hurts is the thought after saying 'What if I had...?'
The pivot of change is a place
Where the wishes are renewed
Where the dreams are high, hopes are true
And patience is a virtue.
For change is one dimensional
It has no discrimination.
It is the situation that affects,
Through the ripples of our actions.
So when the change applies itself
In our lives slowly but steadily
What is our notion, our thought?
Or do we take our responsibility?
But allow the change to be unlikely
It is so, due to the ignorance indeed
Of the mind, of the soul
Intertwined but stuck in between
This awareness of change fails
Allowing the consequence to hit you hard,
The perspective of the world dissolves
Left with the meaning of disregard
Of accepting a life so drastic
That I never learned to foresee
Now I stand at this pivot
Forced to redefine to myself clearly
The pivot of change is true though darker
When the tears don't cease to flow
When the heart aches and the head thinks
Nothing else but to let go!
When a change affects you..let it do so. Because that is when you know that you've moved on...!

ReplyDeleteVery good little poet :) .. To be honest, I wasn't able to follow with where it was leading to .. But after reading it a few more times, I was able to understand your idea of "change" as an entity with a dark centre and how people get caught in its vortex by not clearly understanding it's true nature .. Very true !! .. Your maturing and so is your talent :) :)
